Convert Your Waste Into Rdf
Synergy Conversion provides dental clinics with an array of medical waste management solutions to ensure efficiency, cost minimization, regulatory compliance, and sustainability.
We understand that the safety and well-being of your patients and dental team are always top of mind. However, it can be difficult to handle multiple regulated waste streams and ensure that your employees and practice are up to date with government regulatory requirements.
At Synergy Conversion, we customize waste management solutions for your specific needs, no matter the size of your practice. Whether you are a family-owned and operated clinic or a large dental service provider, we are here to help you optimally manage all clinical waste streams in the most cost-effective and sustainable way. Our solutions also cater to the needs of dental specialists, including orthodontists, oral surgeons, and endodontists.
Synergy Conversion is an expert provider of refuse-derived fuel technology, an alternative method to traditional waste management that can reduce costs while positively impacting the environment.
Refuse-derived fuel technology converts’ last kilo’ wastes that cannot be sorted and/or recycled, such as mixed plastics, paper, glass, and biohazardous materials, into an inert, sterile and odourless ‘fluff’ known as refuse-derived fuel (RDF).
In comparison to pre-treated and unsorted waste, RDF is entirely unrecognizable, odourless, and sterile. It is much lighter and smaller as the treatment process can reduce the weight by 50% and the volume by 80%. RDF can also be safely stored for over 90 days at room temperature with no risk of odour or bacteria proliferation when vacuum packed.
Harnessing RDF technology has a tremendous positive impact on the environment. RDF is a renewable energy source and can be used for energy production in place of fossil fuels. It can also be recycled as bedding or filler for non-structural concrete. Also, unlike traditional recycling methods, the process of creating RDF often involves non-recyclable waste sent to landfills or incinerated. Adding RDF efforts to your dental clinic’s waste management strategy will ensure greater recycling of the generated trash in the facility, lower operation costs and improve the environmental impact of your clinic.
Our offsite waste management service is a convenient and cost-effective solution for dental clinics. The Synergy Conversion refuse-derived fuel treatment plant receives, operates and transforms mixed waste from our customers into RDF. It handles various unsorted wastes varying in size and moisture content and can process anything from plastic and glass to biohazardous waste.
Our team at Synergy Conversion is fully trained to handle clinical waste properly. At the time of your scheduled pick-up appointment, you can expect our team to arrive at your dental clinic ready to collect sharps waste, biohazardous waste, plastics, or any other forms of waste efficiently and professionally.
Synergy Conversion offers a wide range of safe, secure, and compliant container systems for the following types of medical waste.
We provide dental clinics with the safe collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal of biohazardous waste generated from dental procedures. This includes any items that may be saturated with blood or other potentially infectious materials, like gauze, personal protection equipment, and bandages.
We also offer durable biomedical waste bags that are puncture- and leak-resistant to keep your staff and patients safe from spillage, leakage, and cross-contamination.
Sharps, such as needles and blades, are often used in dental procedures and should be disposed of in a designated container to prevent needlestick injuries or dangerous accidents. Synergy Conversion provides a range of safe and compliant single-use and reusable sharps containers designed with your safety in mind. Our containers are made of maximum-strength hardened plastic, making them highly durable and impenetrable from protruding needles.
Synergy Conversion allows you to safely dispose of amalgam waste from standard dental procedures like fillings. It’s crucial that amalgam is disposed of properly to keep toxic mercury pollutants out of our waterways.
Pharmaceutical waste solutions from Synergy Conversion help dental clinics ensure that any hazardous or non-hazardous medication waste is disposed of in compliance with local regulations. This may include any expired, partially used, or contaminated medication and ointments dispensed to patients while undergoing procedures and surgeries.
We offer pharmaceutical waste containers with an inbuilt locking mechanism to mitigate the risk of tampering, theft, and unauthorized access to discarded pharmaceuticals. They also have a built-in seal to minimize infection risk and prevent accidental liquid leakage.
